This video is directed to the modeler who wants to make their own fuselage or other composite parts like cowls, wheel pants or any other composite items, but didn't know how to go about it. The process which is demonstrated in this video is simple enough for the average modeler to do, and the materials are relatively inexpensive. It starts with a drawing of the part on paper and ends with the finished fuselage. The model he uses in this video is the Pretty Mantis fuselage he designed a few years ago as a replacement fuselage for Tom Kiesling's Mantis competition sailplane.

This 1944 MGM war film is based on the true story of America's first retaliatory air strike against Japan four months after the Dec. 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The screenplay by Dalton Trumbo was based on the 1943 book by Captain Ted W. Lawson, a pilot who participated in the raid. In both the book and the film, Lawson gives an eyewitness account of the training, the mission, and the aftermath as experienced by his crew and others that flew on the Doolittle Raid of April 18, 1942. Lawson piloted "The Ruptured Duck", the seventh of 16 B-25s to take off from the aircraft carrier USS Hornet. The film is noted for its accurate depiction of the historical details of the raid, as well as its use of actual wartime footage of the bombers in some flying scenes.
